Naturally then, Bprimal is all about correcting and creating happy and natural feet that dance, walk, and run through life with ease. To start, Jamie provides a brief overview of the firm and offers more insight into its clientele. “Here at Bprimal, our mission is to help people with their foot health by selling healthy shaped footwear and products such as toe spacers which helps move feet back into their proper alignment. A huge part of our business involves us educating people on the myths that the footwear industry has marketed for years, that footwear should be supportive, have cushioning, and have heel rise. “In addition to this, we explore other issues such as narrow toe boxes that push the toes together and toe spring which lifts the toes. Conventional footwear is often the major cause of foot issues, and when people see a podiatrist, they are sold orthotics which are just a splint for the foot and do not actually fix the problem. Born with perfect feet, we are all about restoring feet to their natural healthy state. Rather than just treating the symptoms, we aim to address the cause of the issues.” Across the Antipodes Bprimal are in direct competition with several other online footwear retailers, however as Jamie goes on to explain, its approach to customer service has enabled the firm to distance itself from the crowd. “Building a support network has certainly helped us provide outstanding customer service. Moreover, as buying shoes online can be quite challenging, we try to make it as easy as possible by assisting with sizing and any returns if they aren’t quite right.” Although the firm are keen to maintain its position in the footwear industry, it’s also important to look after the wellbeing of its employees at the same time as Jamie points out. “The commitment and loyalty from our staff cannot be doubted, however we often encourage them to strike-up a work/life balance which suits them.” Bringing the interview to a close, Jamie signs off by sharing some of the goals the team at Bprimal have for 2021 and beyond. “Moving forward, we are keen to bring as many great barefoot shoe brands to Australia as possible and continue to grow our range.
