In conjunction with the product release in Australia’s Gold Coast, Kingston Lane CEO Sharran Sri- vatsaa will present at the fifth an- nual The Business of Real Estate conference on Tuesday, Septem- Startup New Zea- land website com- parebear.co.nz has expanded its servic- es to help Kiwis get the best prices for their broad- band needs. The recently launched website, which offers utilities comparison, initially offered only power com- parison, but has now expanded to include broadband compari- son. The new service launch has already seen thousands of users compare, switch and save on their broadband. Compare Bear was founded this year by Michael Speight - a former Facilities Manager - and Denis Tyu’kov - a former Financial Audi- tor. Both decided to quit their ca- reer jobs to dedicate their time to helping Kiwis save on their every- day bills. “In the small amount of time the website has been running, we’ve had tens of thousands of New Zealanders use the Compare Bear website,” says Speight. “From those, thousands have found a better deal on their broadband using our online comparison tool. We saw many users switch and save on their electricity providers using Compare Bear, and now the broadband comparison service is proving to be working just as well!” “Being able to help everyday Kiwis save on their bills is a really great feeling for us,” adds Tyu’kov. “We set out on a mission to save our customers time and money, and the feedback we have got from them has shown us that we are achieving this mission! There’s not many services available out there that gives users the tools they need to get unbiased price comparisons, and we are happy to now be providing that service.” With Compare Bear, users answer a few questions - such as their location, usage and speed pref- erences - and are presented with a range of options best suited to their needs. Each option has a full breakdown of what’s included, so that each plan can be compared by the same standards. If users choose to sign up with another internet service provider, it’s a sim- ple process to make the switch. With the success of the power and broadband comparison service, founders Speight and Tyu’kov predict more utilities comparison services to come. “The next com- parison services we plan to launch is mobile phone plan comparison and travel insurance comparison,” Speight says. “And we won’t stop there either - we can’t wait to con- tinue adding more valuable free comparison services to our web- site!” Startup Compare Bear Helps Kiwis Save on Broadband ber 4, sharing his tips and best practices in a discussion entitled, “Real Estate Reimagined – Les- sons Learned from Growing Teles 10X.” “This is going to be a great trip to Australia,” said Srivatsaa. “I’m ex- cited to introduce Kingston Lane to these real estate communities, ones that are smart and eager to adopt new tech, and to be a part of conference pushing so many new ideas.” The presentation will highlight tactics and business realizations Srivatsaa embraced during his time growing Teles Properties, which was sold to Douglas El- liman in 2017. The real estate entrepreneur has been featured in a host of business publications during his career, including Entre- preneur, The Wall Street Journal, and Forbes. Michael Sheargold, CEO of Aus- tralia’s leading network of Inde- pendent real estate agencies, Real Estate Results Network, and Founder of DRIVE Performance, said that he’s very much looking forward to Srivatsaa’s presence at this year’s conference. “Hav- ing Sharran at the Business of Real Estate this year is incredibly exciting for the 300 delegates,” he said. “For him to choose the conference as his platform to in- troduce the Australian and New Zealand markets to Kingston Lane is impressive. When you look at how this amazing market- ing and lead generation solution has helped agents in the USA, it’s great to know our agents will soon have this advantage.” Srivatsaa was a recent guest on the podcast, “Elevate,” pro- duced by Elite Agent, Australia’s only independent print and digi- tal publication covering the real estate industry. It won “Business Publication of the Year” in 2016. Episode 57 can be heard on the podcast’s website.
