A Solid Base Base Creative is a fully-integrated multidisciplinary branding and marketing agency founded in 2003, with offices in Hong Kong, France and China. The firm works with some of the world’s leading entrepreneurs, helping them to innovate, get ahead and break new ground, creating integrated brand and business strategies that are transported well to every cell of the company. Matthew of Base Creative tells us more about the firm’s offerings and its client base. “The firm’s overall mission is to create meaningful brands that people can believe in through our integrated branding and marketing services,” begins Matthew. “As an integrated agency, we offer a full range of services from brand creation and development through to digital and social media marketing and experiential marketing. Our clients come from different industries, including hospitality, property, consumer, corporate, F&B, luxury and so on. World-‐renowned clients include Walmart, Deloitte, Standard Chartered, BASF, LI & FUNG, Swire Pacific and Hermes.” There are many marketing agencies in Hong Kong, to a point that it is quite saturated. However, Matthew tells us what exactly it is that differentiates Base Creative from the competition and allows it to continue thriving. “The world has become more uniform in a sense that people can now share information across the continents so options are abundant. To be able to stand out from competitors and continue to thrive in this industry, we strive to get the most up-to- date and insightful knowledge for clients in order to make the most ideal decision for them. “Also, customers’ behaviours vary in different regions so it’s important to know the cultures and trends of the countries for a well-‐informed strategy. “Base Creative stands by to the principle of creating authentic and honest contents without exaggerating to our audiences. We combine our strategic perspectives with creative designs and insightful contents to gain clients’ supports. “We’re always ahead of emerging trends so we can better inform our clients for solutions and provide services that are unique and not ubiquitous. Being agile and open-‐minded in order to always keep one step ahead and continuing to strive for excellence and create valuable brands that satisfies the needs of consumers is how we do this. “With a strong team in-house, from strategic planning, creative design through to programming and account servicing teams, we take on projects and campaigns ensuring high-quality of work with quick responses to clients. “Base also tailors each project according to client’s needs without recommending components that are not beneficial to clients.” Base Creative’s internal culture is one of vibrancy and free- thinking, where staff are openly encouraged to share their thoughts and ideas. “Our staff are always learning and enriching themselves with the latest development within and outside of the industry, and this is the way to keep our company moving.” With regards to the future, Matthew foresees evolution within the industry as well as continued success for Base Creative. “Marketing will continue to evolve and bring in the immersive element to customers’ experiences. Virtual reality and augmented reality have already been seen in the market and we predict that it will continue to develop and be integrated in our everyday experiences. We are also working on integrating immersive elements to our clients’ strategies. “Base Creative will continue to bring authentic brands to the market locally and overseas.” K Company: Base Creative Name: Matthew Kinsman Email:
