Our aim is to ensure our graduates are work ready and can immediately add value to industry, government and the professions on graduation. “We work closely with our clients to ensure we understand their needs. Then we select our most qualified academic staff to support their projects. Our academic staff is recruited internationally and, while our premier focus is on their teaching abilities, we also seek extensive business and industry experience. This ensures that they bring to the classroom and our industry clients, a wealth of knowledge gained from research and professional practice in their respective fields.” UOWD has a promising future. Having launched three new programs during 2016 including the new Executive MBA, the University also plans to launch a number of new programs in 2017. The University has recently announced a major investment in a new, purpose built campus in Dubai and construction has already commenced on this project. “Disruptive technology based businesses have been at the forefront of business growth over the last five years,” comments Professor Mohamed-Vall M.Salem Zein. “We recognise this in our curriculum by seeking to develop critical thinking skills within our students and by adopting a core subject on innovation and entrepreneurship that has been developed for the UAE by Stanford University. This subject is compulsory for all our students, thus ensuring that they graduate with the mind-set required to add value to government, business and non- profit organisations. “We believe that the holistic education we provide embeds the critical graduate knowledge and skills that are required for tomorrow’s dynamic world or work.” For further information about the University and its programs, you can contact +971 4 278 1800 or email
