The business manufactures highquality electronics-based products and sub-assemblies for customers across various industries, including IoT-connected devices, medical devices, electric vehicles, building controls and environmental monitoring solutions. The organisation is led by an experienced management team. Phil Simmonds (CEO), Bill Green (CTO), Lee Pope (COO), Greg Faughnan (CSO) and Lucian Tudor (Romania Director) have delivered a period of strong, sustained growth and will lead a buy-and-build acquisition strategy. Tony Clarkson has joined the board as non-executive chairman. He brings significant experience in private equity-backed manufacturing companies and will support the team as the business enters its next growth phase. Jez Quigg has also joined the business as CFO, bringing a wealth of experience working with global manufacturing businesses and private equity. Rockpool’s funding will assist EC Electronics in continuing its impressive growth journey through further bolt-on acquisitions.
