We speak to Audrey Anthoney about how the firm survived the pandemic and what the future has in store. Dec20585 Monochromatic Pictures Company: Monochromatic Pictures Contact: Audrey Anthoney Website: www.monochromaticpictures.com A huge challenge for Monochromatic Pictures over the last 12 months was, of course, weathering the Covid-19 storm. This saw the closing of borders which affected many of the company’s plans to produce a television series overseas, for a local TV channel based in Singapore, however, ever resourceful, the team at Monochromatic Pictures is looking at alternative countries, with good Covid-19 management, as replacements. There were, however, a few positives to come out of the Coronavirus outbreak, which Audrey details further. “Covid-19 has allowed us more time to work on pre-production and post for our projects, since shoots were halted last year,” she says. “We are back in business this year, and we are busier than ever to be honest. We think this is because we continued to pursue self-made passion projects during the lock down in Singapore, to keep ourselves busy and our viewers engaged. The whole experience has made our team appreciate our clients and the work that we continue to have.” Regarding the future, Monochromatic Pictures has plans to rebrand and possibly open a regional office, however it is all dependant on the global climate. “In the meantime, we will definitely focus more on Singapore and Asia and bring our company to the best it can be with more exciting content.”
