Singapore Business Awards 2026 | 24 Southeast Asia is experiencing a substantial shift towards renewable energy, with projected growth in renewable energy capacity from 124.6 GW in 2025 to 178 GW by 2030. As the region moves to secure reliable, cost-competitive clean power, scalable execution and disciplined capital deployment have become critical differentiators. At the forefront of this shift is Levanta Renewables, a fast-growing, GW-scale renewable energy platform operating across Southeast Asia. We spoke with Pramod Singh, CEO, to learn more, as we applaud Levanta Renewables in the Singapore Business Awards 2026. Leading renewable energy company Levanta Renewables (Levanta) specialises in developing, owning, and operating solar, wind, and battery storage assets. Headquartered in Singapore and operating across Thailand, the Philippines, Vietnam, and Malaysia, the company is one of the largest private-equity-backed renewable energy platforms in Southeast Asia. Renowned for its ability to deliver highquality clean power assets, Levanta has built a strong track record of structuring bankable, technically robust renewable projects. With the aim of helping energy buyers achieve their cost, reliability, and decarbonisation goals, the company oversees all stages of projects, from development and financing to construction, operations, and long term asset management. Sustainability is central to Levanta’s operations. This commitment extends beyond renewable energy development to rigorous environmental and social impact assessments, strong stakeholder engagement, and the integration of internationally recognised ESG standards across its projects. Underpinning its growth are Levanta’s core values of collaboration, entrepreneurship, ownership and shared accountability, innovation, and integrity. “These principles guide how we make decisions, work with partners, and execute projects responsibly,” Pramod Singh told us. “By combining deep local insight with global expertise, we aim to deliver long-term, bankable renewable infrastructure and accelerate the green energy transition across Southeast Asia.” “By combining deep local insight with global expertise, we aim to deliver longterm, bankable renewable infrastructure and accelerate the region’s energy transition.” Levanta is backed by Actis, a leading global investor in sustainable infrastructure with deep experience in renewable energy platforms across growth markets. This long-term capital partnership brings global renewable infrastructure expertise and operational value-creation capabilities, supporting Levanta’s ambition to scale its platform across Southeast Asia. As the renewable energy platform in Southeast Asia of growth market sustainable infrastructure investor Actis, Levanta is striving to achieve an operating capacity of 1 GW+ by 2028. Aligned with Actis’ approach to sustainability, Levanta delivers and operates projects in full compliance with applicable national laws while embedding internationally recognised sustainability principles across all aspects of the business, as it continues to provide reliable clean power across the region. Levanta secured several key projects across its core markets throughout 2025, taking its total portfolio of operating and secured development assets to nearly 1 GW. In Thailand, the company completed the acquisition of two additional ground-mounted solar portfolios with a combined capacity exceeding 184 MWp, increasing its total operating capacity in the country to over 330 MW. In the Philippines, Levanta continued to advance a portfolio of utility-scale renewable energy projects under the Green Energy Auction Program. These include the 166 MWp Visayas Solar Power Project with battery energy storage systems, a 100 MW Onshore Wind Project in Luzon, and a 375 MW joint development portfolio secured in 2024. Together, these additions have significantly expanded Levanta’s renewable energy pipeline. Beyond Thailand and the Philippines, Levanta is actively advancing its underdevelopment renewable projects in Vietnam and is exploring new projects in Malaysia. Collectively, these milestones underscore the company’s strong execution capabilities and long-term commitment to building a resilient and renewable energy platform in Southeast Asia. It is for this progress and commitment to sustainable development that Levanta has been recognised as Southeast Asia’s Best Renewable Energy Developer 2026. Looking ahead, Pramod added: “Levanta will continue to expand its portfolio of solar, wind, and energy storage projects, while deepening partnerships with energy off-takers seeking reliable renewable power. Key construction milestones are anticipated across the pipeline in 2026. Beyond megawatts, we remain focused on strengthening local teams and fostering collaborations that support Southeast Asia’s net-zero ambitions, delivering renewable energy infrastructure that creates long-term value for communities we serve.” Contact: Chan Kong Shea Company: Levanta Renewables Website: levantarenewables.com Levanta Renewables Named Southeast Asia’s Best Renewable Energy Developer 2026 AIM-Dec25243
