About this award

APAC Insider is excited to announce that the APAC CEO of the Year Awards are set to return for the fourth consecutive year in 2025! This prestigious award program is dedicated to honouring CEOs who drive innovation, foster growth, and navigate unique regional challenges to achieve extraordinary success. The whole team at APAC Insider are looking forward to celebrating the exceptional leadership of trailblazing CEOs across the Asia-Pacific region.

CEOs in APAC face unique challenges as they navigate the region’s rapidly changing market dynamics. The diversity of Asia-Pacific —spanning developing economies to established financial powerhouses—requires CEOs to address varied market demands, regulatory environments, and socio-political landscapes. Additionally, the demand for sustainable growth and digital integration requires them to strategically balance innovation with long-term resilience.

APAC Chief Executives have been instrumental in propelling their organisations forward through digital transformation. Embracing emerging technologies such as AI and IoT, they are positioning the region as a global leader in tech-driven innovation. Despite the risks associated with rapid technological adoption, CEOs across Asia-Pacific are recognised for their confident and strategic approach, leading their organisations through careful planning and measured risk-taking. From the adoption of green technologies to fostering local talent, these leaders exemplify perseverance, adaptability, and a forward-thinking approach in driving business growth and creating new opportunities.

The APAC CEO of the Year Awards 2025 will look to showcase the CEOs who have demonstrated outstanding leadership in navigating the complexities of the APAC market. Taking part in the program provides a fantastic opportunity for business leaders to share their achievements with a broader audience, reinforcing their credibility and enhancing their professional profile. For successful participants selection within the APAC CEO of the Year Awards 2025 offers multiple advantages, presenting winners with the opportunity to gain invaluable exposure to an engaged audience of industry professionals and potential clients, all operating in the Asia-Pacific space.

Our merit-backed approach ensures that recipients are selected based on tangible metrics and results rather than popularity. Our in-house research team and judging panel are dedicated to uncovering the CEOs whose passion, work ethic, and creative thinking have set them apart from peers in what is an undoubtedly competitive landscape.

If you are a CEO leading with innovation, and strategic vision – or know someone who embodies these values – we invite you to participate in the APAC CEO of the Year Awards 2025! This is an opportunity to honour and celebrate the leaders who shape the future of APAC’s economy. Nominate yourself or a deserving candidate today and join us in acknowledging the exceptional leadership that is propelling Asia-Pacific forward.

APAC Insider wishes all this year’s nominees the best of luck in the APAC CEO of the Year Awards 2025!

Frequently asked questions

How long has APAC Insider been in circulation for?

APAC Insider has been in circulation since 2015 and has been building up an impressive reputation for its excellent look into the sectors it covers. The publication aims to serve the vast Asia-Pacific region, which is home to more than one third of the world’s biggest businesses including the likes of Toyota, Sony and Bank of China. APAC Insider is published by AI Global Media, a UK based publishing group launched in 2010.

Where did my nomination come from?

A company or individual can be nominated in various ways, including self-nomination, nominated by a third-party, or nomination by our in-house research team. In the interest of maintaining high response rates, we do not ask nominees to reveal their identity. The main ethos of our awards system is that your ability to succeed is not linked to the number of votes received, with the most pertinent belief behind this being that all awards will be received on merit. As a means of identifying spam votes and countering cyber-threats, we monitor the website for unusual behaviour.

What happens if I agree to be considered further?

As we look to keep maximum focus on relevant candidates, we ask all nominees to accept their position on the shortlist. This gives individuals complete control in their decision on whether they would like to move forward with the award. There is no cost for you to be added onto the shortlist or if you go on to win. Nominees who accept will then proceed to our internal vetting procedure. Nominees are given an opportunity to present their own data which gets considered alongside the information collated by our research team. Please note it can take up to 8 weeks for research to be completed.

Who selects the winners?

We employ an impartial panel of individuals to conduct all the research to a high standard, and our research team are well versed in fact-checking and mediation. At the helm we have a veteran academic leader with international academic and training experience. Our continued use of this panel plays a key part in enforcing APAC Insider’s stance that winners are not determined by popularity, but by their contributions to the sector.

Is there a winner’s ceremony?

While we appreciate everyone will want to celebrate their success, this can look different to all winners. Many of the awards are also open across various regions within the Asian Pacific, and therefore many separate events would need to be arranged. Alongside this thought, we believe in keeping a cost-effective marketing philosophy, and do not wish to add further expense to any business or individual. Our press announcements are made digitally, online and across our network to enforce our position as digital publishers. We aim to provide you with the tools (both digital and physical) to generate real-world value.

If I do win, what happens next?

There is a short press embargo in place where we ask winners to refrain from any public announcements, giving us the chance to prepare the different means of coverage we offer. During this period the program manager will liaise with you to agree on the most appropriate coverage for you. Our main feature takes the form of a digital magazine, but we also offer physical trophies, wall mounted plaques, digital certificates, web-based advertisements, and press releases. The range of options are aimed to make the awards tailor-made to each individual firm, regardless of budget.

Are there any costs involved?

All awards are at no cost to be nominated or to win. We do offer a variety of paid additional benefits for our winners, and these are entirely optional and merely supplementary to your award rather than essential. To demonstrate our commitment to no mandatory fees, all winners are offered a free of charge promotional package. Our company policy will always remain: regardless of budget, our clients should always be able to garner the full value of the award.

I have another question that isn’t listed here.

If you have any questions or wish to discuss the award in more depth, please connect with a dedicated awards coordinator using the contact details provided. They will be able to assist further and guide you through the process.
