Target Behaviour Services is an unwavering Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) organisation made up of a united team of supportive, grounded, and growth-focused individuals who come together to make a positive impact every day. Awarded in our Australian Enterprise Awards again, in addition to its team’s other accolades from us at APAC Insider, Target Behaviour Services continues to impress.

Target Behaviour Services is a Nation-Wide provider of PBS services for individuals with disability, complex needs, and diverse communication profiles. The company works very closely with NDIS participants, families, support coordinators, and organisations who combine forces to design behavioural frameworks across Western Australia. Every framework’s goal is to be practical, respectful, and grounded in evidence-based practice and, coupled with a devoted team, Target Behaviour Services continually makes a difference to numerous individuals, and their loved ones.

Founder and CEO Faith Abbott shared: “Our services include Interim Behaviour Support Plans, functional behaviour assessments, Comprehensive Behaviour Support Plans, staff training, and ongoing coaching to ensure that supports are implemented safely, ethically, and in a trauma-informed manner. We pride ourselves on building genuine relationships with our clients and taking the time to understand their lived experience, strengths, and goals.”

Of course, all of these offerings are built on a foundation of dignity, collaboration, cultural safety, and accountability. This means that Target Behaviour Services is guided by core values that support clinical decision making, communication, and the way its team supports people through their stability and potential crisis moments.

“Our core values have been fundamental to our growth and to our strong reputation across the sector.”

With prevalent clinical governance backing Target Behaviour Services’ offerings, the organisation has become well known for its dedication to delivering only the best services that are rooted in results through evidence-based practices, through the reduction of restrictive practices, and through culturally safe and trauma informed PBS. Faith commented: “This improves the quality of life for people with disabilities and truly builds the capability of the wider disability workforce.”

In essence, this approach has resulted in multiple award wins, and many successful endeavours for Target Behaviour Services, including this year’s prestigious accolades of Best Positive Behaviour Support Organisation 2026 and the Inclusive Support Excellence Award 2026.

Making sure that the hiring process for any new team members is centred around value alignment, clinical integrity, professionalism, and a strong commitment to person-centred practice, with restrictive practice reduction and complex behaviour support at the core, Target Behaviour Services ensures that its team is infallible.

Inevitably, Target Behaviour Services promotes psychological safety, for its clients and its team members. This results in staff feeling supported in asking questions, seeking help and thinking creatively about their solutions as an organisation. This environment is nurtured every day amongst team members, which colours every interaction with clients. With strong supervision, accessible leadership, and clear clinical pathways, Target Behaviour Services is able to put its best foot forward in order to help numerous people in living with complexities.

Atop the achievements already experiences, Faith explained the team’s plans for this next year. She said: “We plan to continue expanding our specialist services, with a focus on complex behaviour, dual disability, and trauma-informed practice. We are investing in clinician training, strengthening our governance systems, and exploring partnerships that allow us to deliver more culturally responsive and community-based interventions.

“We are also working on new professional development programs for support workers and SIL providers, designed to lift sector capability and ensure consistent, high-quality implementation of behaviour plans across the state.”

It’s our pleasure to celebrate Target Behaviour Services’ excellent Positive Behaviour Support in Perth, and we’re positive that 2026 will be yet another important year for the hard-working and well-respected organisation.
