Australia generates more than 2.5 million tonnes of plastic waste annually, with an astonishing amount ending up in landfills and polluting the environment. Single-use items play a key role in this ongoing ordeal. Revibes is a company seeking to eliminate this problem, introducing a reusable model that is practical, sustainable, and expertly tailored for businesses and events. The company is headed by Jack Charewicz, Founder and CEO, leading the charge in sustainable, scalable solutions. We found out more from Jack, as he is named in the Australian CEO Excellence Awards 2025.
Founded in 2024, Revibes is on a mission to end single-use waste without increasing costs – designing and delivering reusable packaging systems that eliminate the need for single-use plastic at major events, stadiums, festivals, and venues. Aiming to lead with innovation, Revibes embeds its reuse ethos into its daily systems, making it a natural and habitual endeavour for consumers and vendors alike.
The sustainability market is growing, and Revibes shines for its ability to offer cost-competitive, scalable reuse systems without disrupting operational flow for venues or increasing costs for suppliers. This is a barrier that has historically slowed down the gradual transition to reusables – yet effortlessly broken by Revibes’ combination of purpose-driven design, smart logistics, and relentless focus on consumer behaviour and education.
An entrepreneur possessing a strong commitment to sustainability and innovation in equal parts, Jack Charewicz has grown Revibes from the ground up – establishing his company as a leader in reusable packaging. With a wealth of expertise in business strategy, operations, and marketing, Jack’s varied background has uniquely positioned him to deliver scalable, cost-effective solutions that advance sustainability across industries.
“My path to CEO has been unconventional but deeply purposeful,” he told us. “I started my career in renewable energy and later took on executive roles within the global reuse industry, including with a North American company backed by Live Nation and Sound Ventures. My greatest transferrable skill is problem-solving – breaking down complex industry challenges into actionable commercial strategies.”
Over time, Jack has cultivated skills in logistics, manufacturing, sales, and strategic partnerships – all of which were critical in launching and scaling Revibes. Today, his leadership is direct, empowering, and execution-focused, providing people with a space to lead whilst setting a clear standard of accountability and performance.
The team works towards a shared vision, aligned by Jack through weekly team calls, transparent reporting, and consistent communication. Internally, Jack is sure to reinforce a culture of ownership and adaptability, wherein each team member is expected to lead their domain with integrity and a strong customer-focus.
The Revibes team approaches every new client or project with a consultative mindset: listening first and designing second. By customising logistics, return systems, and brand integration, each deployment is made seamless. Over time, the company has perfected a lean deployment method of minimum disruption, maximum return rate, and rapid post-event turnaround – one that enables the team to consistently deliver quality, even in fast-paced, high-pressure environments like music festivals and sporting arenas.
Along this journey, the biggest challenge for Revibes has been reshaping the deeply ingrained habits congruent with single-use products. The team have worked tirelessly to overcome the common misconceptions that investing in reuse is inconvenient and expensive – undertaking smart education campaigns and seamless system designs to achieve this mission.
Conversely, these same barriers have presented certain opportunities, especially as public and regulatory pressures intensify. The reuse industry is maturing fast, driven by governments around the world introducing legislation to ban single-use plastics. Revibes is staying ahead of the curve by investing in track-and-trace technology, working early on with legislators, and ensuring that its systems are not only compliant, but preferred by end-users.
Every challenge Revibes faces had forced the team to become leaner, smarter, and that much more innovative. As a result, the company is constantly pushing forward in its mission of making a difference in the world, driven by Jack’s unrelenting passion for sustainability and impactful business operations.
Ultimately, Revibes has evolved to stand as more than a sustainability company, but a scalable logistics business solving real-world economic and environmental problems. But the journey is far from over; 2025 will bring much expansion and enhancement for the team.
“2025 is a pivotal year – we’re expanding across Australia and launching in New Zealand with stadiums, festivals, and major brand partners,” Jack announced. “2024 taught me the power of speed and simplicity – that perfect doesn’t beat done and that progress matters more than perfection. In five years, I see myself building Revibes into a global platform for reuse, where return and reuse is as easy as a tap.”
