About VOICE: We are a rights-based organization working on the development issues with an integrated approach. We work on issues related to rights to information and communication, freedom of expression, privacy and data protection; tobacco control, ecological agriculture, climate change and environment, the effectiveness of development cooperation. We are building a broader constituency of alternative voices to the ‘mainstream development discourse’ through research, outreach, informal education, and training. For more please visitwww.voicebd.org About the Executive Director Ahmed Swapan Mahmud is the founder of VOICE; a notable social advocate and researcher in global development scenario having 30 years of extensive experience in the field. He has close experience of working with UN and OECD's processes; particularly UN post-SDGs and aid & development effectiveness processes. He represents as an executive member of several international networks. Before founding VOICE, he worked for national and international organizations as a senior development practitioner. All through his career, he has extensive experience in designing, managing, and implementing development projects. Besides, he has been an academician teaching at different colleges and universities. He is also a poet, essayist, and critic and regularly writes in national dailies and international journals. Ahmed Swapan is graduated in literature with political science and psychology and complemented his career through national and international courses.
