PerkinElmer Opens Customer Knowledge Center in Taiwan
PerkinElmer, Inc. held an opening ceremony for its new Taipei Customer Knowledge Center (CKC) located in Neihu District, Taipei City on May 27. President of PerkinElmer’s Environmental Health business, Jon DiVincenzo, as well as Vice President and General Manager of Global Sales and Service, Nam-Hoon Kim, hosted more than 70 guests from the environmental, chemicals and semiconductor testing industries and academia, along with PerkinElmer representatives from the Asia-Pacific region.
This new Taipei CKC is a relocation and expansion of PerkinElmer’s presence in Taiwan, where it has been present for more than 25 years. The facility is located in a convenient and ideal location for offering support and services to customers. It contains PerkinElmer’s innovative detection and analytical instruments for providing instrument demonstrations, sample analysis, application testing, method development, education and training in food safety, environmental testing, and industrial applications.
“Opening this new Taipei CKC in an area where many of Taiwan’s technology industry is situated is a strategic investment that enables us to further connect with our customers and partners,” said Nam-Hoon Kim. “We look forward to sharing our products, services and expertise with them and delivering the tools and knowledge to help them facilitate better outcomes in environmental health.”
PerkinElmer’s customers in Taiwan include academic institutions, government agencies, foundations and large corporations — spanning electronics, semiconductors, petrochemicals, food, materials engineering, chemical industry, pharmaceuticals, inspections, biotechnology, medical, and other industries.
